Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday thanked the people Nepal for their hospitality and called his Nepalese counterpart Sushil Koirala 'a wonderful host' after the conclusion of the 18th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit.
"I thank the people of Nepal for their warm hospitality. My thanks to PM Koirala for being a wonderful host during the SAARC Summit," the Prime Minister tweeted.
Prime Minister Modi also praised the scenic beauty of Nepal.
"Mighty and magnificent! In the lap of nature, among the beautiful Himalayas," he said.
Earlier today, the Prime Minister met a few local people in Kathmandu.

The 18th SAARC Summit concluded here today with all participating leaders agreeing to a 36-point Kathmandu Declaration Letter.
Prime Minister Modi and other leaders from the South Asian nations had informal talks at the retreat session of the SAARC Summit earlier in the day. The Prime Minister also shook hands with his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif and held 'unofficial' talks with him.
