People in India are very excited to welcome him," Prime Minister Modi told Prime Minister Medvedev.

"I am waiting that on December 11 we will be able to attain new heights in terms of our relationship with Russia," he said further.

Prime Minister Modi is in Myanmar as part of his 10-day trip to three nations, the other two being Australia and Fiji.

Yesterday, he interacted with the leaders of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries.
