Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Barack Obama shall jointly address the nation on Tuesday via the radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat', that shall be aired by national broadcaster All India Radio (AIR) at 8 pm.

Prime Minister Modi, in a tweet, has stated that the recording of the joint address by the two leaders has been completed.

"Sharing our 'Mann Ki Baat' during the recording of the radio programme. Tune in on 27th January at 8," the Prime Minister posted.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has also reportedly written a letter to private radio and TV channels, urging them to avail of the free feed of the joint address from AIR.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has previously addressed the nation three times since October via the radio programme.

The joint address by Prime Minister Modi and President Obama follows the joint Op-Ed written by the two leaders in a major American daily, during the former's visit of the US in September 2014.
