Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address at New York's Madison Square Garden left the Indian American community spellbound who described him as an honest man with a positive approach.
"We love his approach that he wants to end bureaucracy and make India a livable place. We welcome his ideas," said a lady after listening to Prime Minister Modi's address.
"He has covered up the grassroots level, the people of India, clean India main thing, India needs a lot of cleaning and he has brought it up and that is going to bring everybody together," added another fan of the Prime Minister.
A woman, who was dressed in traditional Indian clothing for the event, described the Prime Minister to be a confident man.
"It was not a speech to me. He was so honest and I think he will do what he is saying, there is a lot of confidence," she said.
Another woman got nostalgic after hearing the Prime Minister's address.

"What I liked about most that even if we are staying far away, we are still together," she said.
Agreeing with Prime Minister Modi's call for 'Clean India' and 'Make in India' initiative, a youth here hoped that more investments will flow into India in the coming days.
"We liked the 'Swachh Bharat Andolan', 'Make in India' initiative, I hope the 'Make in India' initiative brings lots of investors to make India more happening and more prosperous," he said.
"His speech was more practical, whatever he was saying it is achievable and I think everybody can participate. It was a good speech and I think he will make something good for India," added another Indian present on the occasion.
An Indian American here was impressed by Prime Minister Modi's oratory skills, saying he brings on a new Indian image.
"Amazing speech, he is an amazing orator, the way he speaks its really inspirational for the youth," he said.
"He is a damn good guy, a damn good administrator; no doubt about it. It's not so easy to do it. But yeah all the best, keep up, we are proud of you wherever we are as a global Indian. Hip Hip hurray, Hip Hip Modi!! God bless India!!!," said another Indian American.
A woman, who came with her family all the way from New Jersey to hear Prime Minister Modi' speech, said she was impressed that he touched upon Indian ethos and culture during his speech.
"The way he started explaining everything about Navratri, it is amazing, making your culture global, we could feel the global presence of India everywhere I really support him in every aspect," she told ANI here.
Addressing the Indian-American community at Madison Square Garden in New York earlier, Prime Minister Modi announced that the PIO Card holders will now get life time visa.
He also announced that the people of Indian origin who live in India for a long time will now need not go to police station. He said that a new scheme will soon be launched merging PIO and OCI schemes.
Lauding Indian expatriates residing in the United States, Prime Minister Modi said India's status and respect has risen in the eyes of the world because of their hard work and the efforts put in by them.
"I am fortunate that my countrymen, who are staying here thousands of miles away from their country, have raised the status and respect of India. There was a time when our country had an image of snake charmers. Had you not been there, had there been no Indian youth, the miracle you have created in the field of information technology had that been not there, then the world would have still been known as a country of snake-charmers," he said.
