Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said the social security schemes launched at 115 locations across the country are a landmark step towards 'Jan Suraksha'.

The Prime Minister also said that he visited Dantewada with a clear message about development being the only way ahead.
"Went to Dantewada with a clear message- Development is the only way ahead and it must reach the poorest of the poor," he added
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He also launched the 'Pradhan Mantri Jivan Jyoti Bima Yojana', 'Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana' and the 'Atal Pension Yojana' in Kolkata.
He also met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Swami Atmasthananda, who is the fifteenth president of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission.
Prime Minister Modi had also earlier affirmed his government's commitment to fight the Naxal menace and said that only a plough on the shoulders can bring development, and not guns.
