While paying his tributes to late Congress leader Girdhari Lal Dogra on his centenary celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took a dig at Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra with his sons-in-law remark, and said these days we all know what kind of things are said about 'damaads'

"Dogra Sahab would have been a very good judge of people's abilities. And one example is the son-in-law he selected. There was no similarity in the political ideology of Dogra Sahab and Arun Jaitley. These days, we know what kind of things are said about 'damaads'," he said at the leader's centenary celebrations, leaving the audience in splits.

The Prime Minister said that there is no question of political untouchability and everyone who has worked for the nation, has to be respected.

"Earlier, I saw an exhibition on Mr. Dogra. What touched me most was the fact that in all of Girdhari Lal ji's photos, I never saw a single person from his family. It is a victory for Girdhari Lal Dogra ji that he inspired a line of leaders after him, he became a man who shaped a generation of leaders," he added.
