PM Modi to deliver video conference 'Shramyogi Kalyan Mela' address across Gujarat today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the 'Shramyogi Kalyan Mela' in 20 places across Gujarat through a video conference from Varanasi on Thursday.

"Leaving for Varanasi. Will take part in Swachh Bharat Mission, inaugurate development works there. From Varanasi this evening, will address Shramyogi Kalyan Mela in 20 places across Gujarat, through video conference," Prime Minister Modi tweeted.

The Prime Minister, who will be visiting his parliamentary constituency Varanasi today to observe ' Good Governance Day ' on the birthday of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, will also be visiting the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) to garland the statue of educationist Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya on his birth anniversary. He will then drive to Assi Ghat to inspect the cleanliness programme started by him during his previous visit to the town.

 

Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the Prime Minister's visit. The Special Protection Group (SPG) has taken over the security arrangements and the state police and PAC have also been deployed in and around the venues of different programmes.

Prime Minister Modi had visited the temple town earlier in the first week of November.
