Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Washington at the end of this month, during which he will hold talks with US President Barack Obama on September 30.
"President Obama and Prime Minister Modi are scheduled to hold talks on September 30, after Obama invited the Prime Minister to visit him earlier this month," External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj told a press conference here.
Swaraj also announced that India will be shortly organising an Indo-African Summit, where, for the first time, all the African countries will be invited.
"An Indo-Africa summit will take place soon, where all 54 African countries will be invited, as opposed to just the 17 African countries that used to be invited earlier," she said.
Earlier this month, Prime Minister Modi returned from a highly successful visit to Japan.
