Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Japan on Saturday August 30. He would be leaving New Delhi early morning tomorrow.
It will be a three-day visit, which the Prime Minister has said that he will begin from Japan's former capital Kyoto, which is rich in heritage and culture.
Prior to his visit, in his departure statement, he highlighted the importance of India's continued partnership with Japan, especially in the defence and technological sectors, in order to ensure peace and stability in Asia.
