Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina here today.
The Prime Minister arrived at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Thursday morning (IST) for five-day US visit.
During his stay in New York, Prime Minister Modi is also likely to call on the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
Prime Minister Modi will also be meeting heads and representatives of the Fortune 500 companies. He is expected to push for investments under the 'Make in India' programme during these meetings.
In his second visit to the United States, he is also scheduled to hold a number of bilateral meetings with world leaders, including US President Barack Obama, on the sidelines of the UNGA.
