Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Bangladesh from June 6-7, the Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed.
A release by the MEA stated that Prime Minister Modi is making the trip on the invitation of his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina, and his visit will expand the relationship between New Delhi and Dhaka and strengthen the ties of friendship and trust between the two nations.
During his visit, Prime Minister Modi will also meet Bangladesh President Mohammad Abdul Hamid.
This is Prime Minister Modi's first visit to Bangladesh.
