Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday urged people in Jharkhand to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to make the state free of corruption.
"Urged people to vote BJP so that Jharkhand can be freed from corruption and unstable coalitions that affected the State," the Prime Minister tweeted.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Modi had said the people of Jharkhand do not want a coalition government as it does no good.
The Prime Minister, who has been extensively campaigning in the poll-bound state, also stated that Jharkhand was no ordinary state and it can become the pride of India's economic development.
The third phase of the five-phased assembly elections in Jharkhand is to be held on December 9, with the results of the polling scheduled to be declared on December 23.
