Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday wished US President Barack Obama a safe journey, adding that his visit has taken Indo-US ties to a new level.
Prime Minister Modi took to twitter to share his wishes.
"Farewell @WhiteHouse! Your visit has taken India-USA ties to a new level and opened a new chapter. Wish you a safe journey," he posted.
"As for the rainy day yesterday, as you yourself said @WhiteHouse today morning, Bade Bade Deshon Mein... :)," he added.
Before wrapping up his three-day visit, US President Obama had also taken to twitter to thank Prime Minister Modi for a memorable visit.

President Obama and First Lady Michelle departed from India after wrapping up a successful three-day visit.
They were seen off by Minister of State for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy and Minister-in-Waiting Piyush Goyal and Foreign Secretary Sujata Singh, besides other Indian and American officials based in New Delhi.
Before entering Air Force One, President Obama and US First Lady Michelle Obama waved to people on the tarmac and folded their hands in the traditional Indian greeting of "Namaste".
