On the occasion of 68th Independence Day, today the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, unfurled the flag in the central court of Red Fort, after inspecting the guard of honour.
After hoisting the National Flag from the ramparts of Red Fort, he began his addressal to the nation.
Before reaching the Red fort, the Prime Minister also paid homage at the Rajghat.
There was no bulletproof box ahead of PM's Independence Day addressal. However, security was tightened all over the nation.
