Unhappy Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski is reportedly resolute that he would not sit out his contract on the substitute's bench as a January exit appears to make a gesture.
The Germany international has been an unimportant figure for Arsenal again this season, despite Olivier Giroud being ruled out until December through injury.
Podolski recently revealed that he would consider his future at the Emirates Stadium during the January transfer window if this situation persisted, with new signing Danny Welbeck currently ahead of him in the pecking order up front, Sport24 reported.
Podolski helped Germany grab a fourth World Cup crown in Brazil four months ago and remains a part of Joachim Low's plans, having been called up for the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers against Poland and the Republic or Ireland.
Germany general manager Oliver Bierhoff urged his compatriot to seek regular football elsewhere, saying that he would advise Podolski to seek talks with the coach, and to find a solution which fits both sides.

Bierhoff said that he hopes that, should Podolski make a switch, his path would lead him to a club that will provide him continuity.
And Podolski has dropped another hint at a potential departure from the north London club if he continues to play a bench role under their manager Arsene Wenger.
The former FC Koln star said that he does not like it on the bench, adding that he is not someone who sits out his contract.
