Police has reportedly arrested a group of suspects in Spain after a series of FC Barcelona chocolates drugged with cannabis and hallucinogenic mushrooms went up for sale in the country.
The counterfeit toffees had actually been stuffed with illegal drugs and stamped with Barcelona's logo.
Police arrested a nougat-maker along with six other suspects during an operation to bring down a large-scale drugs operation in the Alicante and Valencia areas of Spain, the Daily Star reported.
Laboratory in the coastal town of Santa Pola were also reportedly raided by police and they found evidence there that cocaine, cannabis and amphetamines had been prepared for sale alongside 300 grams of the drugged chocolates.
Police has warned fans that other forged football-related products could go up on sale as dealers might attempt to disguise their drugs, the report added.
