Gujarat Police has said it is crosschecking Narayan Sai's account of the past 58 days that he had been absconding.
Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana said they already have information on the subject and are going to cross-verify it with Narayan Sai's.
"We are crosschecking the details that have come up after the interrogation. He has given an account of the 58 days when he was absconding, which is quite lengthy. We have some information on the same, and we are going to cross-verify it with what he says," said Asthana.
"He has been answering like a normal accused; he is saying a few things and hiding a few. His medical examination will take place today. We will decide later if any other tests are to be done," added Asthana.
Furthermore, Asthana added that the Delhi Police had seized some of his things including his car, six phones, and sim cards and have brought them to Surat.
