Dutch Police have evacuated a Paris-bound Thalys train in Rotterdam after a man locked himself in a toilet.

According to Fox News, the police said in tweets that the train and several platforms at Rotterdam Central station have been cleared and negotiators were in contact with the man.

Thalys authorities said in a tweet, "Security forces have situation under control. No risk for our passengers."

The incident happened less than a month after passengers subdued a gunman on board a Thalys train in northern France while it was traveling from Amsterdam to Paris.
