The police on Monday seized Rs 1.6 crore in cash from an SUV car during vehicle checking.
Talking to ANI, District Magistrate Abhay Singh said: "Police seized Rs 1.6 crore from the SUV Scorpio car of Uttar Pradesh. Further investigation is on. We have informed the Income Tax Department too."
He said the cash was seized from near Khurja police station in Mundakhera, Bulandshahr.
