Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Dilip Pandey has claimed that he had a narrow escape late on Tuesday night when a police vehicle tried to run him over.
"As I was leaving police station, right outside the police station a police vehicle tried to run me over," Pandey told ANI.
"This was really disturbing. We have lodged a complaint with the police and we will follow it up," he added.
Pandey further said that he was saved by a party volunteer, who pushed him out of the vehicle's way.
Meanwhile, AAP leader Raghav Chadha termed the incident as shocking and alleged Delhi Police of trying to eliminate his party members.
"Just had a word with @dilipkpandey .Shocking to know that Delhi Police is now trying to eliminate us," Chadha tweeted.
