Reacting on the ruling out of a possible alliance with the Congress, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) and a couple of smaller parties, senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Naresh Agarwal on Friday asserted that anything can happen in politics as it is not a game for everyone.
"Politics is a game which not everybody can play. Everything will come in front of you by evening. Nothing is impossible in politics," Agarwal told ANI.
With the uncertainty over the alliance, and a resolute decision on it to be announced by today evening, Agarwal said that the end decision lies with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
"The last decision rests with the Chief Minister. He is looking into the details of the alliance. Till now, no decision has been taken by him," he added.
In the latest development, the Samajwadi Party has ruled out tie-up with the Congress owing to the continuous delay by the latter in clearing its stand on the alliance.
The Congress, earlier on Tuesday announced its tie-up with the Samajwadi Party in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections.
