Poly Medicure Ltd., the leading manufacturers of medical devices and disposables under the brand name Polymed announced its fourth quarterly results for quarter ending March 31, 2016 besides providing other general business updates.
The top exporter award winning company reported net turnover of Rs. 394.47 crore.
Polymed is now entering an exciting new chapter in line with the Government's 'Make in India' theme, which can be played in three parts through import substitution, enhanced domestic consumption and manufacturing exports.
The company plans to invest Rs. 60 crore in a new green field project at IMT Faridabad in Haryana and is geared up to launch a slew of products in the coming year.
The company started its manufacturing operations in 1997 by producing more than 100 different types of medical devices including safety IV Cannula-Quick Flash IV Cannula-Infusions sets (DEHP Free and PVC Free)-CVC- Blood Bags-Blood Lines- Haemodialysis Catheter-Thoracic Catheters-Blood Collection and others.
The range of devices, and products have been well accepted in the global market. The company has successfully implemented a QMS (Quality Management System) which has been accredited by DNV, Norway with ISO 9001:2008, ISO-13485: 2003 and CE - 0434 from DNV, Norway thus making the entire product range compliant with International quality standards.
