Portugal PM arrives in Goa, to visit his ancestral place

Portugal Prime Minister Antonio costa, who is on a seven-day visit to India, reached Goa on Wednesday.

In the last leg of his visit to India, Costa will be in Goa on 11-12 January.

He would be meeting the Governor and the Chief Minister of Goa.

Costa, who traces his roots to Goa, will also spend some time at his ancestral place.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also held bilateral talks with his counterpart in the national capital.

The visiting dignitary also attended the 'Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas' as the chief guest in Bengaluru, and also participated in few business events.

He also attended the 'Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit' in Gandhinagar on Tuesday.
