After suffering two massive earthquakes, which killed over 8,000 people and destroyed an estimated 5,00,000 houses, Nepal will ask for international donors to help support a reconstruction plan.
The Nepali government has stated that the disaster has resulted in a USD seven billion loss to its economy and said that 36 countries and 24 donor agencies had been invited to a conference to pledge their support, News24 reported.
Two massive quakes hit the Himalayan nation on April 25 and May 12, killing an estimated 8,787 people and rendering almost a million homeless.
