Reflecting on the performance, the Dutchman said that his side had a good chance to score at least three goals during the match, Sport24 reported.

The 64-year-old, however, expressed his confidence over his team's upcoming match, saying that if they could win against Wolfsburg at home, they could definitely win against the team away from home as well.

Earlier, United skipper Wayne Rooney had said that his side were not ruthless enough and insisted that they needed to score more goals as a team.

Despite making a strong start, United failed to sustain the momentum against the Dutch champions and finished playing a goalless draw. United headed towards the tunnel with the scoreline, goalless in their last seven games in all competitions.

United are second behind Wolfsburg in Group B with one game remaining, and now have to defeat leaders Wolfsburg in their final match next month to secure their spot in the knockout stages.
