External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday said the husband of the Indian woman IT consultant murdered in Australia, Arun Kumar, is satisfied with the Sydney Consulate's assistance over the incident.
"I've just spoken to Arun Kumar, husband of victim; He is satisfied with the assistance from the Consulate," she said.
Meanwhile, the victim's nephew, Trijesh, said the family is more concerned about bringing the body back to India to perform the last rites.
"We're more concerned with bringing my aunt's remains back to Bangalore and do the rituals," he said.
Earlier in the day, Swaraj had said that the Indian consulate is providing every kind of help over Prabha Arun Kumar's murder in Sydney.
On Saturday night, Kumar was stabbed to death in Sydney, a mere 300 metres from her home.
She was reportedly attacked while she was talking to her husband on the phone.
