Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) with Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan and stressed on working for objective of "Secure supply of LNG at Reasonable prices".
Pradhan, who is currently on a visit to Japan, took to his Twitter handle and said the main focus is to work together in this area.
"Signed Memorandum of Cooperation on LNG with Minister of Economy, Trade & Industry of Japan; main focus is to work together in this area (sic)," Pradhan Tweeted.
The union minister also held bilateral meeting with Japanese Energy counterpart Hiroshige Seko and agreed to work together on several areas like LNG and Gas Hydrate.

Pradhan's visit is important to enhance bilateral engagements in the oil and gas sectors within the overall framework of the India-Japan Energy Dialogue.
The visit is also aimed at enhancing cooperation in establishing a transparent, efficient, truly global and balanced LNG market.
