Prakash Javadekar calls for synergy in Films Division and other units

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar on Saturday called for bringing in synergy among various production units in Films Division which will enable them to work closely and make materials for the target group.

He said:"Today I visited the Films Division and had a meeting with all our production units in Mumbai, like films divison, NFDC, Doordarshan, All India Radio, and Childrens Film Society."

"We also had discussion with our extension units like Song and Drama and Film Publicity Certification Board. So we have dicussed that all units will work in tandem, collaboration to that we are finalising a roadmap for their active co-operation and help in achieving goals for specific organisations," he added.

 

"After all our job is to reach out to desired population. As far as childrens films and to take other material to the targeted groups.. To reach those population effectively we have thought of many good strategies.. and have asked officials to give concrete proposals on which we will take decision in due course of time in one or two months," he further added.
