Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar met a delegation of Chinese businessmen in the Capital today, with whom he discussed the possibility of exploring green technologies.

After the meeting, Javadekar said, "The delegation of a group of businessmen who want to work with cleaner technologies in sectors like coal, mining and mobile telecommunications. They want to invest in India and want to build a business relationship with us."

Javadekar added, "The world is now focusing on India and they want to build good relations with us, because India's prestige has grown in the world. Thus, internationally, people are now investing in India.

Javadekar gave the credit for the increasing number of international investors to the new budget. "New opportunities have been created with the new budget. The problems and hindrances which used to be in the way of development have now been removed. People have new hopes now and this government has stood up to those expectations," he said.
