Fast bowler Dhammika Prasad's four wicket haul helped Sri Lanka to bundle out West Indies for 163 to take a first innings lead on the second day of the second Test at P.Sara Oval here on Friday.

Resuming from overnight position of 17-1, West Indies opener Kraigg Brathwaite and night watchman Devendra Bishoo got dismissed for their respective scores of 47 and 13.

Skipper Jason Holder tried hard to accelerate their innings, but got out for cheaply 21 runs.

The hosts bounced back brilliantly after being bowled out for 200 runs in their first innings on the opening day.

All rounder Dilruwan Perera and Milinda Siriwardana provided good support by claiming three and two wickets respectively, for their side.

At the end of the day, Sri Lanka were leading by 113 runs with eight wickets remaining.

Opener Dimuth Karunaratne and Kusal Mendis got dismissed for a duck and 39 respectively while Kaushal Silva (31) and Dinesh Chandimal (5) were on the crease.

Sri Lanka are also leading the two-match series 1-0 after winning the first Test by an innings and six runs.
