With Prime Minister Narendra Modi travelling to Bangladesh on a two-day official visit on June 6, Dhaka has been decorated in honour of the visiting dignitary, with banners and placards welcoming the Indian leader.
Posters with pictures of Prime Minister Modi and his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina are currently adorning all the major streets and junctions across the city, with preperations for the former's visit in full swing.
Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to attend many programmes in Dhaka, including the visit of the memorial of the 1971 Bangladesh liberation war.
The two leaders are scheduled to discuss the historic Land Boundary Agreement (LBA), as well as other border issues between the two nations.
