President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday extended warm greetings to former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 90th birthday.
"Warm greetings and good wishes to Shri A.B.Vajpayee on his bday; may the Almighty bless him with happiness and good health #PresidentMukherjee," tweeted President Mukherjee.
Earlier on Wednesday, the president's office had confirmed that Vajpayee will be conferred with the country's highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier this month declared that 'Good Governance Day' will be observed on Vajpayee's birthday.
