President Mukherjee extends greetings to Kingdom of Lesotho on eve of their Independence Day

President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and the people of the Kingdom of Lesotho on the eve of their Independence Day.

President Mukherjee conveyed his greetings in a message to His Majesty King Letsie III, the Kingdom of Lesotho.

"On behalf of the Government, the people of India and my own behalf, I take this opportunity to convey warm greetings and felicitations to Your Majesty, the Government and people of Lesotho on the occasion of your Independence Day," the President said in his message.

The President said that India and Lesotho share long standing bilateral relations which have grown stronger and vibrant in recent years.

 

"Our partnership is based on shared understanding on issues of common interest. I am confident that our relations will continue to prosper to the mutual benefit of our peoples," he said.

"Please accept, Your Majesty, my good wishes for your continued good health and personal well-being, as well as for the happiness, progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Lesotho," he added.
