President Mukherjee to embark on three-day visit to West Bengal

President Pranab Mukherjee will embark on a three-day visit to West Bengal from today.

During his visit, he will attend the concluding ceremony of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly and a felicitation function organized by the Nayaprajanma and Suri Sabujer Abhijan at Suri, Birbhum.

He will also inaugurate the Youth Science Congress organized by the M.S. Swaminathan Foundation at Visva Bharati, Shantiniketan.

On Saturday , the President will inaugurate the new Bhasha Vidya Bhavan (School of Languages) and attend the convocation of Visva Bharati University. On the very same day, he will address teachers and students of Aligarh Muslim University Centre (Murshidabad) at Jangipur.

 

He will also witness the final of 5th KKM Memorial Rural Football Tournament and lay the foundation stone of KKM Memorial Sports Academy and Wellness Centre at Mackenzie Park, Jangipur.
