President Barack Obama revealed, during a town hall meeting at the University of Malaya, that he regrets not having spent more time with his mother Ann Dunham.

The 52-year-old politician said his mother, who died just 22 days short of her 53rd birthday, got ovarian cancer in 1995. He added that it all happened very fast, in about six months, ABC News reported.

He said that there was a stretch of time from when he was about 20 till he reached 30, where he was so busy with his own life that he didn't always reach out and communicate with Dunham and ask her how she was doing and tell her about things.
