"We haven't developed the villages on a comprehensive and integrated approach. Sometimes I think that in order to focus on our villages and also on our economy we need to focus on Tri-Colors of our nation's flag," Modi said.

While speaking on the saffron colour's significance in the nation's tri-colour, he attached the colour's significance in his speech of bringing in a 'saffron revolution' in the country. He drew an example out of the US saying that till yesterday that country which used to be energy- dependent on the Gulf countries has now turned itself self sufficient in the energy sector where it is now in a position to export gas.

He brought to light that given the nation is blessed with ample amount of sunlight and therefore the nation should

focus on solar energy and use the solar-radiation amply for the benefit of the country. He called for taking proactive initiative in this sector. He asked if India could also tread the same path and therefore he said saffron revolution will direct us on this area.

Earlier while speaking on the green colour which also forms a part of the tricolour he said, "we should focus on second green revolution and look towards increasing its productivity. |We must remember that our land is not growing. We need to work on the area of growing more pulses per hectare and increase its protein content as for the last 50-60 years," Modi said.

Modi said that Universities at present were not working on increasing the protein content and stressed on the fact that such things is required in case of a big society in the world.

He noted that the current situation demands for moving on to value addition. He added, "Today our farmers are committing suicide because of witnessing wastage of 30 percent of his produce, but this could be arrested if we decentralise on warehousing."

He also talked about sensitizing the railway system so that agriculture produce gets priority while it gets shipped from one place to the other.

While bringing in the white colour he said that the nation has more cattles compared to the world but in respect of milk productivity the country is a lot backwards.

He said that due to lack of support system to the farmers it was not becoming economically viable and called for modernising the whole system. He said that there was no cattle health care infrastructure and said if this continues then the nation cannot reach its true potential to bring in white revolution.

He brought to light about the colour blue which signifies the wheel on the tri-colour. He said that it is attached

with fisheries. He said even after having everything to export from the seas but he rued the fact that the nation has not done enough to increase its export capacity utilising its full potential. He also that this sector has enough potential to capture the global market. Not only that even there is a huge demand of ornamental fish around the world which the women of the fisherman's family could work on.
