Prince George's 7 godparents revealed!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's 3-month-old son Prince George has seven godparents, it has been revealed.

William and Kate Middleton have picked Zara Phillips, who is the 31-year old elder son of Prince Charles' cousin and Olympic equestrian, Oliver Baker, who is a college friend of the couple and Emilia Jardine-Paterson, who was at Marlborough College school with Kate and is a longtime friend of William, as godparents to their new-born son, People Magazine reported.

Others on the list are, the 22-year-old son one of William's godparents and the heir to the Duke of Westminster, Earl "Hugh" Grosvenor and Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who is serving the couple part-time as the Principal Private Secretary and Equerry.

 

The list also includes Julia Samuel, who was a close friend of Princess Diana and William van Cutsem, who is the youngest of the four van Cutsem brothers who provided family support to William and Harry after their mother died in 1997.

The names of the seven godparents were released just a few hours before George's christening which was led by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, at the Chapel Royal in St. James's Palace.
