Prince Harry's former lover Cressida Bonas is in talks to join cast of TV hit show 'Downton Abbey.'

According to the sources, the show's creator Julian Fellowes met the aspiring actress to discuss a role, and is believed to be "hugely impressed with her," the Daily Star reported.

Bonas, 25, who dated the royal, 30, for almost two years, loves the show and hopes it would help raise her profile, both in the UK and US.

A source said that Bonas had met Fellowes in the run-up to the Golden Globes, and though they had an informal chat, he promised to set up a meeting with the show's casting director to talk about a possible cameo in the next season, which might even lead to a permanent role.

The beauty, who's a Leeds University graduate, was cast alongside Oscar winner Dame Judi Dench, 80, and supermodel Cara Delevingne, 22, in the new Harvey Weinstein movie 'Tulip Fever,' and even the film's producer had backed her saying that she's a "fantastic actress.
