Prince Harry reportedly spent an entire day and night in a cold chamber in Warwickshire to train for the 208-mile race to the South Pole.

The 29-year-old Captain Wales of the Army Air Corps, who is patron of the 'Walking With The Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge', trained in -31F temperature with his team for 12 hours, two hours at a time with breaks of just 10 minutes, the Daily Express reported.

Harry will be among teams of wounded service personnel from Britain, the US and the Commonwealth, participating in the race in November.
