Prince William reportedly described his new-born son Prince George, who reminds him of his mischievous younger brother Prince Harry, as a 'little rascal' in his first official interview since becoming a father.

The first official pictures of Prince George, taken by Duchess of Cambridge's father Michael Middleton, were leaked on Twitter several hours before they were officially released, News.com.au reported.

In the images taken earlier this month at the Middleton family home in Bucklebury, Prince George is seen wrapped in a white blanket in his mother's arms while Prince William looks on from the left.

Another image shows them with the Middleton family dogs, Tilly and black cocker spaniel, Lupo.

The Duke of Cambridge gave an interview to CNN, at his home at Kensington Palace describing his son as a little fighter as he wriggles a lot and doesn't like to sleep much.

Prince William added that he is enjoying being a new father to baby George but is looking forward to joining work again in order to catch up on some sleep.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were blessed with new-born baby, Prince George, on July 22.
