Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday held daylong meetings with local Congress leaders and scores of party workers at the party office in Lucknow.
She advised them to strengthen their respective booths.
The newly appointed Congress general secretary for East Uttar Pradesh, on Monday participated in a mega roadshow along with brother and party president Rahul Gandhi in Lucknow.
The party workers who met Priyanka said that she consulted them about their respective booths and advised them to work for strengthening the party.
They also said that she remarked that major changes in the party leadership in the state would be done after the Lok Sabha polls.
Priyanka who reached Lucknow from Jaipur at around 1.30 pm on Tuesday and first met with the party workers from Unnao thereafter she met booth level workers and leaders who came from various other Parliamentary constituencies across the state particularly from eastern Uttar Pradesh.

After the mega rally in Lucknow, she flew to Jaipur to lend moral support to her husband Robert Vadra who appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering case related to a land scam in Bikaner.
According to sources, Priyanka Gandhi will meet the party workers till 14 February and is scheduled to visit several constituencies in eastern UP region from 18 February to 21 February.
