Producer David Crane let down all hopes when he recently confirmed that there really was absolutely no 'Friends' reunion in the pipeline.
The 57-year-old co-creator of the hit 90's sitcom, which had been nominated for 62 Emmys, and would be celebrating its 20th anniversary this month, said that since they had done everything they wanted to and had finished the show with a perfect ending, there really was no reason for a revisit, Metro.co.uk reported.
He added that the reason the series has successfully sustained for 10 years, pulling in more than 20 million viewers was that they were "in a room full of funny people," plus everybody cared about the characters as they could really relate to them.
The show, which had been endless repeat since it ended in 2004, would release the 20th anniversary box set later on September 22.
