South African cricket coach Russell Domingo has said that he is expecting his bowlers to strike back after Pakistan took a shock 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series in UAE.

According to Sport24, the four-pronged Proteas pace attack was found wanting as it bowled too short of length with Pakistan's first innings lead of 193 proving decisive.

Domingo said that he had bowlers in this group of players who were capable of getting 20 wickets, adding that they just need to implement their plans better and be a lot more disciplined.

The second Test starts on Wednesday at Dubai International Stadium, the report said.
