South Africa have called in their former skipper Graeme Smith as an adviser for the remaining Tests of the four-match series against England.
Confirming the news, skipper Hashim Amla said that Graeme was a wonderful cricketer and that he could give good guidance to the batters, Sport24 reported.
Amla insisted that Graeme had gone through difficult cricket conditions and therefore he was well aware of ways to turn the things around for the team.
Amla further said that young players in the team could learn a lot from Smith, who had earlier hinted to make a return to international cricket.
South Africa are currently trailing 0-1 in the Test series following their crushing 241-run defeat in the opening match against England in Durban.
The two sides will play the second Test in Cape Town, starting from Saturday.
