Following the huge success of Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Lahore, a delegation led by Zimbabwe Sports Minister Makhosini Hlongwane met the country's cricket board chairman Shaharyar Khan in his office.
Hlongwane was accompanied by Zimbabwe Cricket chairman Tavengwa Mukhlani.
During the meeting, Hlongwane applauded the smooth conduct of the PSL final before admitting that the tournament would surely supplement the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) efforts for revival of international cricket to the country.
"The minister applauded smooth organisation of the PSL final and said it will surely be a stepping stone in revival of international cricket in Pakistan," the Dawn quoted the official statement as saying.
Meanwhile, the officials also discussed possibilities of bilateral tours between the two countries in the coming months.
PCB chief operating officer Subhan Ahmed, media and coordination director Amjad Hussain and international cricket GM Usman Wahala also attended the meeting.
