Top leaders of the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) party on Tuesday refused to meet or hold talks with negotiators of the Nawaz Sharif-led PML-N Government, saying that it was too late to negotiate now.
The Dawan has quoted the government, as saying that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed senior ministers to reach out to other like-minded politicians in parliament so that they could be included in the negotiating committee.
The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and the PTI are demanding that the Sharif Government quits office before they lead their 'Azadi' march into Islamabad's Red Zone.
Sharif is reportedly monitoring the entire situation directly and has also directed Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to ensure security of the Red Zone at any cost.
