US firm Omnicom and France's Publicis have announced a merger to create the world's biggest advertising company worth 35.1 billion dollars.
According to the BBC, the merger will be called Publicis Omnicom Group jointly led by Omnicom CEO John Wren and Publicis CEO Maurice Levy.
The merger will bolster the companies' focus on growing Asian and Latin American markets, such as China and Brazil, the report added.
The companies see savings of 500 million dollars from the merger, and the deal is expected to be finalised by the end of the March 2014.
