Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree banning agricultural imports from Western countries that imposed sanctions on Russia over Ukraine crisis.

According to the BBC, Putin ordered measures on food imports for at least one year.

In the meantime, violence in Eastern Ukraine continues as investigators are prevented from searching the remains of the victims of MH17 crash.

The U.S. and the European Union earlier accused Russia of providing missiles to pro-Russian separatists in the MH17 plane attack.

However, Russia and the pro-Russian separatists had denied all claims.

Efforts to investigate the MH17 crash site in Eastern Ukraine are being constantly hampered by the rebels and Ukrainian military.
