Russian President Vladimir Putin has boasted of his annexation of Crimea talking about his discussions with his security chiefs over how to extricate Ukraine's ousted President Viktor Yanukovych.
According to the Mirror, Putin said in a documentary trailer that he told his colleagues "we must start working on returning Crimea to Russia".
After the February 2014 meeting, pro-Russian soldiers stormed the building of Crimea's parliament and a new government was hurriedly formed.
The Crimean parliament then voted to join Russia in March last year.
Putin said that Yanukovych, who had fled a revolt in Kiev, would have been killed adding that they were ready to get Yanukovych out of Donetsk by all means.
