Kim Woollen, the wife of country music legend Glen Campbell, who suffers from Alzheimer's, has admitted that her decision to put her hubby in a care home was "agonising".
Woollen, who has been married to Campbell for 31 years, confessed that their family of five was completely exhausted taking care of him as they could not cope with his disease, the Daily Express reported.
She added that they even tried to child-proof the house but the 78-year-old singer had to be watched every minute, and hence, they had to move him for his own safety.
The father-of-eight, whose hits include 'Southern Nights' and 'By the Time I Get To Phoenix' and 'Wichita Lineman', was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2011.
